On learning some CBT skills

Our professional practice module provides the opportunity to develop practical skills in therapeutic intervention.  Here’s what one student said about the learning session on cognitive behavioural approaches to physical health:

I’m clear now that I want to be practitioner

The session helped me make direct myself towards future goals of being a practitioner as opposed to an academic. I am passionate about working with people, and I could see myself using CBT or being involved in CBT as it offers a platform whereby I could help patients.

A word of thanks

The guest lecturer on this topic was our former student Elaine Walklet. We are very grateful for what was clearly an inspiring session.
